This was such a special wedding for us to photograph! For a few reasons, one: my husband was the groom’s college roommate for years! two: it took place at the Chapel of the Resurrection in Valparaiso, Indiana where Caleb and I got married less than a year ago! So many memories! Being a wedding photographer there was definitely a nostalgic moment- and so much fun. Now, why was it an “ultimate” wedding? Scroll down and see :)
First of all, I think every bride deserves to have her groom look at her like this when she walks down the aisle! This first look is so sweet!
Could this place be anymore beautiful for a wedding!? Yay balconies for great angles!
Here’s why this wedding was “ultimate!” The bride and groom met on the Valparaiso University Ultimate frisbee team! Most of the members of their wedding party was part of the team as well. So they had to squeeze in a quick game before the reception! :) So much fun!
Teehee I love the girls in the background!
The girls won! (I think?)
Congrats Eric and Steph!
The whole series is stunning Abbey! May I ask what is your secret to get such perfect skin tones? That is my main problem when I shoot weddings; it’s always too dark and yellow-ish!

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
